The Roosevelt County Sheriffs Office responded to 120 calls from Oct. 21-28. The calls included the following: Oct. 21 Deputies responded to Froid for a report of hunters shooting within the city limits. Richard Fewer, 60, of Glasgow, died in a one-vehicle fatality on Thursday, Oct. 24. According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the man was northbound in his Ford F350 on N. Alysa Jensen, a 23-year-old Saco/Hinsdale woman, died in a fatality crash in Phillips County on Friday, Oct. 25, according to the Montana Highway Patrol. A house fire was reported in Poplar at 3:36 p.m. Oct. 23. A statement from the Poplar Volunteer Fire Department said that multiple firefighters were paged out to a structure fire at 407 C Street West.
