Incoming post commander Christopher Petersen was master of ceremonies and delivered the main address, which centered on the sacrifices made by veterans since WWII, including a special emphasis on the challenges faced by bomber squadrons. Official Gives Insight To Water Flows Project


Joe Bonneau, Missouri River Recovery Program manager for the Corps of Engineers, reached out to area residents regarding the Fort Peck water flows project during a presentation at the Missouri River Conservation District’s quarterly meeting on Tuesday, May 21. Bonneau noted that it’s beneficial for him to make a visit in Montana. He said communication is the key for the project to succeed.

Museum To Host Root Beer Floats, Breakfast


Root beer floats will be on offer at the Culbertson Museum following the Frontier Days Parade on Saturday, June 1, and a chuckwagon breakfast will be served on Sunday from 7-11 a.m. Museum founding member and longtime president Lois Raum will be celebrating a significant birthday while preparing meals. Her chuckwagon is famous, having achieved “top 5 status” among over 100 chuckwagons
