Roosevelt County commissioners approved during their weekly meeting to conduct a public hearing regarding abandoning Road 2058. The meeting to hear input has been scheduled for March 7 starting at 6:30 p.m. in the county building in Culbertson. Commissioners will make their decision on a later date. The Bainville Town Council held their regular meeting Feb. 13. Minutes were approved, as were the treasurer’s report. Public comment was received regarding questions about council schedules and appointments. Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Michael Ellerton attended the meeting (K9 Hati stayed in the car) and provided the regular department report on area traffic stops and citations.
