The Roosevelt County commissioners said last week that a satellite voting office will be opened in Poplar on Oct. 21-23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The satellite voting location will be in an office at the Fort Peck tribal headquarters in Poplar. The Roosevelt County Sheriffs Office responded to 99 calls from Oct. 13-20. The calls included the following: Oct. 13 Deputies conducted a probation check in Culbertson on the request of state probation. Oct. 15 Deputies responded to Fort Kipp for a report that a female wanted someone removed from a residence. An adult female agreed to leave and she was given a ride to Poplar. Deputies

Don’t wait until it is too late. Hunters who haven’t already asked permission from private landowners to hunt need to do so as soon as possible.
