Librarian Mary Drake told the Community News that she is seeking input for an hours change that will be seeking approval at the September meeting of the Roosevelt County Library Board. “We are asking for public input and comment on the possibility of changing our hours,” said Drake. “We would like to have the opportunity to be open the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Once again, the Thomas and Corinne Nyquist Foundation is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations in Bainville, Culbertson and Froid and in New Paltz, N.Y., for funding for small community projects with a deadline for applications of Nov. 1. The Montana 4-H Foundation recently announced it has awarded higher education scholarships totaling nearly $37,000 to 42 recipients. The scholarships go to graduating 4-H members and alumni in 26 counties and tribal areas across Montana. Members can use scholarships for post-secondary education during the 2025-26 academic year.
