Tribal Court Hosts Toys 4 Tagojas Tree
The Fort Peck Tribal Court hosted a Toys 4 Tagojas Tree event in December with the goal of ensuring that every tribally enrolled child who is placed in foster care on and off the reservation is not forgotten during the holidays.

Poplar School Donates To Food Bank
Poplar Schools’ students and staff collected more than 800 canned goods and non-perishable food items to donate to the Wolf Point food bank on Wednesday, Dec. 21.

Alexander Says Basketball, Art Are Favorite Things
Art and basketball are two of the favorite things for Wolf Point High School senior Kristina Alexander.
She serves as the manager of Wolf Point’s boys’ basketball team. Although she doesn’t play the sport herself, she loves the action.
“I like to watch the boys being competitive,” she said. “It’s fun to watch them succeed.”

Third Graders Entertain During Christmas Program
Fun was on the agenda as the Southside Elementary School’s third graders presented their Christmas program on Thursday, Dec. 15.
The performance opened with Rainey Azure’s class singing We will Jingle in a tune similar to We will Rock You.
Other selections from the class included Hippopotamus for Christmas and Jingle Bell Rock.
