Bainville Boys Down Fusion, 47-42

The Bainville Bulldogs accounted for nine of the game’s final 11 points to capture a 47-42 league victory over Richey/Lambert on Friday, Jan. 9. After trailing 9-4 at the end of the first quarter, the Bulldogs ran off 18 points in the second period for a 22-16 lead. Wolf Point High School senior Stephen Brown likes being part of the school’s boys’ basketball program. He said he has participated in the program since his sophomore year, but he is receiving more court time this season. “I’m just a team player. I try to score and pass the ball,” Brown explained. Average Gas Prices Unchanged In State

Average gasoline prices in Montana are unchanged in the last week, averaging $2.75/g on Monday, Jan. 12, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 11.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 2.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 2.3 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.475 per gallon.

August Roosevelt County 4-H honored Oil Field Waste Logistics, Bob Jasper and C& B Operations during the county fair. Angela Miller resigned as the Roosevelt County Fair manager. Officials said that she submitted her resignation on Aug. 8, the last day of the fair, and finished working until the end of that day’s activities.
