Teams Earn Honors In Scobey

The Culbertson/Bainville cross country team ran to second-place honors in the girls’ division and a fourthplace showing in the boys’ division at the Scobey Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 10.

The Cowgirls finished with 19 points for second place, behind Scobey’s 11 points.

Anna Steppler, a sophomore, was the overall champion with a time of 23:33.2.

Jaclynne Taberna, a freshman, earned third place at 24:41.4.

Rebekah Ellerkamp finished 17th with a time of 29:07.6. Elenor Iversen was 27th at 31:45.4.

Leading the Cowboys was senior Cal Steppler with a time of 19:28.9 for fourth place.

Gunner Glas finished 17th at 22:41.4.

Tyler White Cloud placed 25th at 24:13.6. Trust Magwaba was 29th at 24:37.5.

Arlie Purvis finished 32nd at 25:17.9. Right behind was Logan Telck in 33rd at 25:19.1.

Soren Batt took 35th at 26:38.0. Colton Glas placed 37th at 28:55.1. Roman Emerson took 41st at 31:07.2.

Froid/Lake

Bryce Murray led Froid/ Lake’s tam with a time of 20:50.3 for eighth place in the boys’ division.

Colby Parenteau placed 31st at 24:58.1.

In the girls’ division, senior Leah Murray finished in 28th place at 32:08.3.

Teams will compete in Brockton on Saturday, Sept. 18.
