Frazer Bearcubs Begin Fall Sports Practices
Frazer High School fields a young cross country team for the 2026 season.
Coach Tessa Vivier said the squad includes two girls and possibly a boy. She is hoping to recruit other runners.
On the girls’ team are eighth-graders Anevay Daniels and Londyn Rattling Thunder. “I’m glad they are out. They are working hard,” Vivier said.
Daniels and Rattling Thunder are also playing volleyball and flag football for the Bearcubs this fall.
“I know they can qualify for state,” Vivier said of the girls. “They are pretty promising. They are good athletes, good girls.”
To qualify for the state meet, a girl needs to run the course in 30 minutes or under.
The junior high program features three runners.
A highlight for Frazer is hosting its 56th annual home meet on Sept. 24.
“There are 17 teams signed up to come,” Vivier said. “It looks like a good meet. I’m excited for it.”
The top 10 high school runners will receive T-shirts and medals this year. A day will also include an alumni run.
