Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report
The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 144 calls from March 16-23.
The calls included the following: March 17
Deputies assisted BIA social services in searching for a missing juvenile.
Deputies received notification that a male was released from Fort Peck tribal jail. There was an extradition warrant for his arrest by the county. Andrew Frederick, 35, was arrested on authority of the warrant and taken to the Roosevelt County jail.
March 18
Deputies, the Wolf Point Police Department and Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice assisted federal probation in Glasgow regarding a man who was seen walking in Wolf Point who had a federal warrant. He couldn’t be located.
March 19
Deputies and FPTDLJ responded to the tribal prosecutors office in Poplar when an elderly woman reported she was being abused by her daughter. The suspect was arrested and taken to tribal jail for elder abuse.
March 20
Deputies and FPTDLJ responded to tribal court to take individuals to jail.
March 22
Deputies responded to Dad’s Bar in Wolf Point for a report of two females fighting. Upon arrival, one female had a bloody mouth. The suspect fled the area. FPTDLJ arrested the suspect when she was located.
March 23
Deputies and FPTDLJ responded when a property owner in Wolf Point reported that an adult male was trying to steal something from his yard. The suspect was cited into tribal court.
