Cowgirls Drop Game To MonDak

The Culbertson Cowgirls fell by a 68-33 margin on the road against MonDak during District 2C basketball play on Friday, Feb. 6.

The Thunder gained an 18-5 lead in the first quarter and held a 36-15 half-time cushion.

MonDak added 13 more points in the third quarter for a 49-22 margin.

Top scorers for the Cowgirls were Ayden Ator with eight, Ivy Colvin with seven and Kalia Featherston with seven points.

Rounding out the scoring were Emma Berwick with four, Payton Labatte with three and Leandra Perkins with two points.

Abby Lowes accounted for 38 points for the Thunder.
