Nevin Lloyd Kelly, 22, of Circle died April 18, 2025. Born Dec. 28, 2002, in Glendive, he was the second son to Jason and Lynn Kelly. He was welcomed, excitedly by older brother Neale. In the following years, he would be joined by brothers, Layton and Tucker, and sisters Erin, Kaelyn and Ainsley. He was an exceptionally loving brother, cousin and friend. He was always in the middle of making something for someone and always full of ideas for his next project. He was constantly in the middle of carving, whittling, welding or sanding on some project for his friends and relatives, from swords and wands to keepsake coins. Every project he ever took on finished, unfinished or only planned was carefully considered for its recipient. He was also an incredible mechanic and handyman. He loved to tear things apart and put them back together again. Things often seemed to work better after he had done so. He would often make use of his talents for others. He was enrolled in an aviation mechanics class in Helena and would often travel to Polson to help his great-aunt Jean with anything she might have needed.

Eugene “Gene” Giese, 80, died April 22, 2025, at his residence in Williston, N.D. He was born to Raymond and Muriel (Bakkum) Giese on April 21, 1945, in Williston, N.D. He grew up in eastern Montana and graduated valedictorian from Bainville High School. He went to college in Dillon, where he met and married Loreen Short. They had four children. He worked as a teacher, a principal, a superintendent and an insurance agent. Later in his life, he married Yvonne Knox. He helped her run a flower shop and managed their properties. He always said he had three gifts: making people laugh, getting people to talk and never giving up. Ryan (Misun-Little Brother) White Horse, (Iya Gana-Old Stone), 42, died April 18, 2025, in Billings. He was born Sept. 11, 1982, in Havre, the son of Donna Low Dog and Bernard White Horse Sr. He grew up in Wolf Point. He lived a simple, yet meaningful life. There are so many perceptions to his life given he was known by many. His children were his heart and treasure. He would always do his best to ensure their health and overall well-being. He used his heart to be the amazing father he never had and despite life’s challenges set before him. He was also very smart, educated and talented when it came to math.
