September is Bear Aware month in Montana and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has a few new tools to help the public stay informed of what’s happening with bears around the state.

Runners Earn Honors At Meet
The Culbertson/Bainville cross country team had individuals in the top 10 for both the boys’ and girls’ divisions during the season-opening Wolf Point Invitational on Friday, Aug. 29.
Culbertson’s freshman Anna Steppler finished in fifth place with a time 23:51.29. The winning time was 22:00.65 by Poplar’s freshman Journey Gourneau.
