Senior Profile Campbell Shines At Wolf Point High School Wolf Point High School student Richard Campbell is one of the leaders for the senior class whether it’s on the athletic field or other situations. He is a member of the National Honor Society and a class representative for student council. In sports, he is a quality player for both Wolf Point’s basketball and football squads.

County Retires Ellerton’s Badge


The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office will always remember Sgt. Michael Ellerton who died on July 1, 2025, after a four-year battle with cancer. Last week, the county commissioners approved the sheriff’s office’s request to retire Ellerton’s badge, #13. Wolf Point’s football team got behind early and lost at defending state champion Malta, 46-14, on Friday, Sept. 19. The Mustangs jumped out to a 19-0 lead in the first quarter. Malta reached the end zone on a five-yard run by quarterback Kazner Oxarart, a three-run dash by Rylee Brusse and a 42-yard interception return.
