Fort Peck Summer Theatre’s Annie features more than 24 dozen local actors, a live dog and members of the National Broadway Tour performing on July 5-20. Leapin’ Lizards! Winner of seven Tony Awards, including best musical, the beloved show features famous characters, a heap of optimism and of course the smash hit, Tomorrow.

This timeless musical about hope happily makes its return to Fort Peck Summer Theatre, directed by artistic director Andy Meyers, who performed in the National Broadway tour directed by Annie’s creator, Martin Charnin.

Culbertson’s Harper Anderson stars as Annie.

Miss Hannigan is played by Pat Sibley, whose national credits include Annie with Meyers, as well as The Wizard of Oz, Oklahoma, Memphis and Young Frankenstein. Previously at the summer theatre, Sibley appeared as Ouiser in Steel Magnolias and Martha in Arsenic and Old Lace.

Havre actor Casey Pratt makes his Fort Peck Summer Theatre debut as Oliver Warbucks, alongside Sydney Hayward as Grace, Jay Micharl Roberts as Rooster, Tayte Rolandson as Lily and Shy Iverson as FDR.

The alternating cast of orphans features more than two dozen local actors:

• July 6, July 12, July 18, July 20: Arrow Henry, Haven Fox, Bryten Clark, Shelia Mason, Ava Budde, Wynne Green, Lyla Lerner, Kadia Kalinski, Brynlie Harris, Daylin Wayne, Fallon Pinder and Kjel Bea Markle.

• July 5, July 11, July 13, July 18: Lillian Leddy, Mackenzie Bigelbach, Laynee Bakeberg, Gwen Turner, McKay Youkam, Kinley Overby, Laiken Christophel, Holly Bell, Carley Egleston, Lilliam Baumgartner, Emma Hopstad and Leiaura Leddy.
