Bainville Community Plans Fourth Of July Activities
The Town of Bainville is planning many activities for area residents to enjoy on the Fourth of July.
Topping the list is a community parade starting at 10:30 a.m. Parade participants will line up at the Lutheran Church at 10 a.m.
The Bainville Fire Department will open the day with a breakfast in the fire hall from 7:30-9:30 a.m.
Bainville Concrete Construction will sponsor “Lunch in the Park” starting at noon.
Activities and vendors are planned for from noon to 5 p.m. Bainville’s cheerleaders will sell beverages including Wild Calf iced coffees and Lotus drinks. Bainville’s softball girls will provide a bake sale.
Afternoon fun will feature face painting, a petting zoo, gunny sack races, Bingo, mini golf and pony wagon rides.
A Prairie golf tournament is scheduled from 1-3 p.m. Sign up by contacting Lawrence Romo at 12:30 p.m.
Cornhole and volleyball will begin at 3 p.m. Register with LaRae Romo at 2:30 p.m. for the cornhole tournament. There is an entry fee of $10, and you must be at least 18 years of age. Sign up with Kallie Clark at 2:30 p.m. for the volleyball matches.
A lawn mower race is planned for 4 p.m. Contact Matt Giese at 3:30 p.m. to register. A softball game will begin at 6 p.m. Sign up with Lakyn Rabbe at 5:30 p.m. The Bainville softball team will offer concessions.
Bainville’s FFA alumni will host a tri-tip meal from 5-6 p.m. in the American Legion Hall. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children 6 years or younger.
Music entertainment will be provided by In It to Winn It DJ from 7-10 p.m.
