Bulldogs Win Matches In Scobey


The Bainville Bulldogs posted several volleyball victories as they tied for fifth place at the Scobey Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 14. After opening the tournament with a victory over Wibaux, the Bulldogs dropped a tough match against Scobey by a 25-17, 16-25, final. The Froid/Lake volleyball squad tied for fifth place at the 14-team volleyball tournament held in Scobey on Saturday, Sept. 14. The Red Hawks took third place during pool play. Froid/ Lake opened action with victories over Culbertson and Ekalaka. Froid/Lake then downed Lustre Christian, 25-10, 25-16. Culbertson Competes At Tournament


The Culbertson Cowgirls enjoyed a good measure of success during the 14-team Scobey Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 14. The Cowgirls competed in pool A of the volleyball tournament. Culbertson finished with a 2-2 record. After falling to Froid/Lake to open the tournament, the Cowgirls bounced back with a solid victory over Lustre Christian. Culbertson then downed Wibaux, 25-15, 25-9.
