Region Sees Contested School Board Elections

Both the Culbertson School District and Froid School District will have contested school board elections on Tuesday, May 7.

Seeking one of the two open board positions in Culbertson are incumbent Mark Colvin along with Amber Fox and Lisa Steppler. Paul Finnicum, who has served on the board for 21 years, decided not to seek re-election.

Voting times in Culbertson on May 7 are from noon to 8 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria.

Candidates for the two open positions in Froid include incumbents Blake Murray and Joshua Rios along with Keith Nordlund and Jordan Smith.

Voting in Froid is open from noon to 8 p.m. on May 7 in the school’s gym.

Bainville has canceled its election for this year because there are only two candidates for two positions.

Serving on the board will be incumbent Tyler Traeger and Sarah Harmon.
