Trustees Approve Levy Resolutions

The Culbertson School Board approved resolutions of intent to impose levies during its monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 19.

Trustee Wendy Becker made the motion to approve the resolution of intent to impose an increase on levies for the Culbertson Elementary’s transportation fund by $50,589 or 5.11 mills and the adult education fund by $456 or .05 mills for the 2024-2025 budgets. Ian Walker seconded the motion, which carried unanimously.

Becker made motion to approve the resolution of intent to impose an increase on levies for the Culbertson High School’s transportation fund by $11,095 or 1.32 mills and the adult education fund by $424 or .05 mills for the 2024-2025 budget. Trustee Chris Petersen seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

Trustees approved a certified teaching contract to Clayton Marchwick to teach third grade next school year. Marchwick thanked the board for the opportunity to student teach in Culbertson. He will serve as a paraprofessional for the rest of the current school year.

Jimie Lou Morris was offered a non-tenure teaching contract for the 2024-2025 school year.

Cassidy Obergfell was hired to be the high school’s football assistant coach. Dirk Reiland was hired as the junior high football head coach and Logan Nickoloff was hired as the assistant coach.
