Local resident Jeri Toavs is urging people to consider donating food items to help feed some of Wolf Point’s less fortunate children during the holiday season.
Toavs said the idea came to her when a grandson mentioned that one of his school friends didn’t have much to eat at home.
“So the grandma in me kicked in,” Toavs laughed.

Khaw Julito Quezada was born Dec. 5 at 8:34 a.m. to Kristi Bigleggins and Julio Quesada at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow. He weighed seven pounds 14 ounces and was 20 inches long.
He joins his sister, Krista, and brother, Brandon.
His grandparents are Kathy Roundface and Leroy Comeslast of Poplar and Maximino Quezada and Rosario Perez of Oxnard, Calif.

Quiarrah Rios and Del Eymard placed first in dramatic theater. In classical theater, Ryver Summers and Walker Harmon took top honors.
