MHSA Approves Shot Clock, Baseball

Shot clocks and baseball were given approval during the Montana High School Association’s annual meeting in Butte on Monday, Jan. 17.

Schools voted the addition of 35-second shot clocks for boys’ and girls’ basketball.

In addition, baseball was approved as a sport for the Montana High School Association.

Schools passed an amendment to allow eight graders in all high school sports except for football.

All proposals needed to pass by a two-thirds vote.
