Cowgirls Knock Off Savage, 28-18

The Culbertson Cowgirls fought off Savage, 28-18, in a defensive battle held in Savage on Thursday, Jan. 13.

Culbertson held a lead of 5-3 after the first quarter and moved ahead 11-7 at the half.

The Cowgirls then struck for nine points in the third quarter for a 20-12 margin.

Destiny Thompson led Culbertson with 11 points. Also scoring were Megan Granbois with seven, Makena Hauge with six, Alicyn Ator with two and Perla Burciaga with two.

Cambry Conradsen scored nine points to lead the Warriors. Rounding out the scoring were Taylor Conradsen with five, Karley McPherson with three and Brooke Reuter with one.
