County OKs Funds For Froid Project

The Roosevelt County Commissioners approved funds for two infrastructure projects in Froid during their meeting held on Tuesday, Jan. 11.

The Froid water main curb valve replacement project will cost an estimate of $4,983.20. The scope of the project is that five total curb stops throughout Froid are needing to be dug out and replaced.

The Froid wastewater manhole replacement project will cost an estimated $12,000. Commissioners agreed to use American Rescue Act Funds for the projects. Froid will need to receive 25 percent of matching funds from the state.

Commissioners reappointed Larry Burshia and Jerald Petersen to the planning board.

The county renewed its agreement with Ironstate Consulting for county planning. The consultant works two days a week for the county. Pay is $285 for each day.
