Mathew Wadsworth, 15, finished up his outdoor racing season with a first place in the 250 class and a second in the open class at Roughrider Motorsports in Dickinson, ND, Oct. 21. He races with the Hash Hill team out of Culbertson.

Asked to describe his favorite moment from the season, Wadsworth said, “The best was pulling the hole shot in Glen Ullin against a full gate of riders.”

A “hole shot” describes being the fastest rider off the gate and first up to the first turn.

His worst memory was a tie between crashing in the air on a series of small “whoops” jumps in Glen Ullin, ND.

Wadsworth raced the full season of indoor arenacross 4GMX in Rapid City, SD, outdoor motocross in the North Dakota Motocross Association and Roughrider Motorsports in Dickinson.
