Local Food and Ag Development Center Seeks Community Input

Great Northern Development Corporation and Eastern Plains Economic Development Corporation are partnering with the Montana Department of Ag and NoKidHungry to conduct a study of the regional food system. The study is an initiative of the Eastern Montana Food and Agriculture Development Center, a joint project of these two development corporations. Findings will help the Eastern Montana FADC focus their work to support the region’s economic resiliency, agricultural and related businesses, and availability of food in the region.

To help capture how residents & producers view the current food system, anyone who lives in the region has the opportunity to take a short survey available at https://www.surveymonkey. com/r/FADC All survey responses will be kept confidential. As a thank you to people who complete the survey, there is an option to share your name and email address to be entered into a random drawing for one of five $100 VISA gift cards.
