Willard Gerald Landsrud, of Wolf Point died Aug. 13, 2021, at Trinity Hospital in Wolf Point.

The son of Wilhelm and Grace Grandahl Landsrud, he was born Dec. 10, 1932, in Dagmar and raised in Medicine Lake.

He was an electrician and owner of Landsrud Electric and Trenching in Wolf Point for 48 years. He was very active with the community as a member of the Optimist Club and the American Legion. He was also a member of the Wolf Point Assembly of God church and served with Gideons International for many years.

He was a veteran of the US. .Air Force, where he served as a mechanic.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 31 years, Lovella Landsrud of Wolf Point; one son, Kenneth Landsrud of Wolf Point; three daughters, Connie Doornek of Livingston, Karen Samuels of Marysville, Wash., and Cynthia Landsrud of Edmonds, Wash.; three stepchildren, Lyndell Cooper of Linn, Mo., Regina Cooper of Springfield, Mo., and Waylan Cooper of Russellville, Ark.; two sisters, Wilma Weaver of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Dorothy Tucker of Townsend; 15 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Conaway; two brothers, Gaylord Landsrud and Kermit Landsrud; three sisters, Florence Luecke, Alice Madsen and Viola Russell; and a grandson, Noah Landsrud.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 27, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Assembly of God church in Wolf Point. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
