Town Of Bainville Talks Ordinance Enforcement

Council Members Plan Drive-Around, Letters

The Town of Bainville held their regular monthly meeting April 14 at 7 p.m. The filing period for council elections is open as of April 22, closing June 21. Contact clerk Nikki Rogers at 406-769-2621 for more information. The filing fee is $10.

The council is planning a drive-by review of lots and properties within town limits before the next council meeting. Residents who are out of compliance will be notified. Rogers told the Community News that now would be a good time for residents to clean up lots and yards.

During public works, Lyle Lambert reported that the new meter is in at the water house. Attorney Greg Hennessey said that the quiet title process on Dorothy Crawley’s property is ongoing. Fence permits were issued pending conditions for Kyle Crusch at 317 Clinton and Jess Romo at 13 Seventh Avenue East. A chicken coop was approved for Jason Eveland at 111 Evans St.

Claims and checks for April were approved, as were JV, UB vouchers and payroll slips. Minutes were passed for March.

The next regular meeting is set for May 10 at 7 p.m.
