Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report
The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 101 calls from Oct. 1-7. The calls included the following: Oct. 1
Deputies received a report from tribal housing in Poplar from an elderly female who wanted an intoxicated and angry male removed from her property. The male was removed by law enforcement.
Deputies responded to a report in Culbertson of juveniles peeping in windows near the Culbertson school and riding motorcycles without lights on. Deputies couldn’t find the individuals.
Deputies received a report of a vehicle and deer collision on Highway 16 near Culbertson. Deputies assisted the driver.
Deputies responded to a report in Poplar of a missing adult female. Deputies received information about the female. She couldn’t be located.
Oct. 2
Deputies removed individuals drinking near the main entrance of the Poplar Cultural Center.
Deputies assisted an ambulance crew with an elderly male who fell and needed assistance to get back on his furniture.
Deputies assisted the Wolf Point Police Department, Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice, Montana Highway Patrol regarding a fatal train vs. pedestrian incident near the Amtrak station at 9:47 p.m. Deputies assisted as the coroner.
Oct. 3
Deputies assisted FPTDLJ with a domestic call in the Brockton city limits. A female suffered injuries. FPTDLJ arrested an adult male for partner/family member assault.
Oct. 4
Deputies responded to the Poplar Activity Center for a report of a break-in. One male was arrested on authority of an active warrant.
Deputies assisted the Bureau of Indian Affairs, social services and FPTDLJ in Brockton for a child custody matter. No arrests were made.
Oct. 5
An adult male turned himself in at the sheriff’s warrant. Andre Reum, 26, had a warrant for his arrest.
Oct. 6
Deputies assisted FPTDLJ with a report of a robbery with a firearm in Wolf Point. The armed individuals took a vehicle from a residence. Law enforcement searched highways, Wolf Point, Poplar and notified Valley County law enforcement but couldn’t locate the vehicle.
Deputies responded to a possible domestic abuse incident in Wolf Point’s tribal housing. An adult male threatened a female. Information was forwarded to tribal prosecutors.
Oct. 7
Deputies assisted a male after a deer and vehicle accident on Highway 327 near Bainville at 6 a.m.
Deputies responded to a report of someone breaking into an individual’s property and stealing belongings.
