Students Provide Fun During Performance Students Provide Fun During Performance

The Wolf Point High School drama class entertained audience members with performances of Robin Hood on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the high school auditorium.

Prior to the performance on Friday, director said the students really enjoyed themselves and had a lot of fun preparing for the performances.

“You can see by the students,” Boysun said of the group’s attitudes.

Boysun noted that costumes came from a costumer in Schenectady, N.Y. Swords came courtesy of Dan Hance and the Barn Players.

Hood by Larry Blamire attracted him.

“I chose this adaptation for its balance of humor and light-hearted fun,” Boysun said. “The sword fights play a huge role in the show and it was fun to watch the students take charge and learn the choreography through grueling hours of practice.”

Cole Boysun, a senior, played the title role and also prepared lights and sound for the performance. Annika Smith was in charge of the scenic design. Adrienne Peterson handled lights and sound. Julianna Garfield served as assistant director.

Other student performers included Owen Moran as Will Scarlet and King John, Nomi Deserly as Marian Harper, Gavin Daugherty as Riccon Hazel, Reilly Rees as the Sheriff of Nottingham, Nora Hansen as the Bishop of Hereford, Thomas Moudree as Little John, Aydyn Azure as Much, Wyatt Mee at Arthur-ABland, Amya Low Dog as Meg and Prioress of Kirkless, Maya Deserly as Alan-A-Dale, Sheena Standing Rock as Ellen Dierwold, Autumn Jackson as Eadom, Ashlynn Balch as Catherine, Ellianuna Ryan as Queen Eleanor, Tavina Bell as Friar Tuck and Kailayla Villaluz as Guy of Guisbourne.
