Air Travel Slightly Down In Wolf Point
The amount of travelers coming to or flying out of Wolf Point is slightly down from a year ago.
According to information from the Montana Department of Transportation, the number of passengers at the L.M. Clayton Airport in Wolf Point was 5,466 through November.
The total was 5,638 through November during 2024. The busiest months for flying in Wolf Point for 2025 were August with 614 passengers, October with 557 and July with 546. By comparison, the busiest flying months during 2024 were July with 591 passengers, August with 580 and May with 550 passengers.
The lowest totals for 2025 were 322 in February, 412 in February and 477 in May.
For the month of November, Sidney was the most busy of Montana’s five Essential Air Service airports with 1,181 enplanements. Glasgow ranked second with 563 enplanements while Wolf Point was fourth with 508 enplanements. Havre had 512 while Glendive had 319.
For the year through November, Sidney ranks first with 12,593 enplanements. Next in line are Havre with 5,683, Glasgow with 5,627 and Wolf Point with 5,466. Glendive had 3,709 passengers.
Glasgow and Havre are each up from the previous year. Ridership for Glasgow has increased by 3.1 percent while Havre shows a 2.7 percent increase.
