Speech, Drama Team Places In Plentywood
The Culbertson/Froid/ Medicine Lake/Bainville speech and drama team traveled north to compete in the Plentywood Invitational on Saturday, Nov. 15, and met with great success.
Placing for memorized public address were Josie Simonsen in first, Vala Gregor in second and Colt’on Rees in third.
Harrison Green earned first for imprompt and Harper Anderson took first for dramatic solo.
Jaxon Flinn placed third for informative.
Gavin Raaum was sixth in mime, Jaclynne Taberna took sixth in humorous interpretation and Samantha Austin ws sixth in spontaneous oral interpretation.
Trinity Gregor took eighth in humorous solo. Brennen Roseleip placed eighth in humerous interpretation.
The team placed first in Class C speech sweeps and first in Class C drama sweeps.
The next competition will find the team on the road to Frazer on Saturday, Nov. 22..
“Our kids are working hard for all three coaches, and the coaches are enjoying all that goes into coaching speech and drama.,” Coach Jeri Gustafson said. “We are all excited to see how far they have already come, and look forward to seeing how much they improve during the rest of the season!”
