Cowboys To Open Football Playoffs At Belt

The Culbertson Cowboys ended the regular season as the third-place team of the Eastern C to qualify for the state playoffs.

The Cowboys will travel to Belt for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday, Nov. 1. Belt, a traditional power, took second in the Northern C behind Fort Benton. The winner of the Culbertson/Belt game will face the winner of the Flint Creek/Superior contest.

Other first-round games are Fort Benton facing Ekalaka, Ennis meeting Darby, St. Regis taking on Sheridan, Scobey hosting Choteau, Circle hosting Chinook and Sweeley- Swan facing Lone Peak.
