Froid/Lake Knocks Off Broadus, 50-19

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks exploded for 50 points to beat Broadus by a 50-19 final on Friday, Oct. 17.

“We played pretty well,” Froid/Lake Coach Michael Reiter said.

The Red Hawks held a 30-6 lead at the half.

Eddie Orozco led the Red Hawks’ attack with three touchdowns on the night.

Cody Olson scored two touchdowns including recovering a fumbled kickoff in the end zone.

Adding touchdowns were Aaron Orozco and Zlatan Vazquez.

Defensively highlights included A. Orozco returning an interception down to the one.

The Red Hawks will host Richey/Lambert on Saturday, Oct. 25.
