Wolf Point High School is a busy place this week with homecoming and Native American Week activities both going on.

Theme Days during the rest of the week at schools include The 90’s Decades Day on Wednesday, Wolves Pride Day on Thursday and Blackout Day on Friday.

A pep rally including the coronation will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Officials are hoping for a great turnout for the homecoming/Native American Week parade down Main Street starting at 1 p.m. on Friday.

There will not be a bonfire this year, but plans are for a car smashing event.

Athletic highlights include both the volleyball team and the football squad having conference contests. The volleyball team hosts Fairview on Thursday night. The Wolves take on Conrad on the football field on Friday.

The Wolf Point Booster Club will have a chili feed at the game on Friday night.

A homecoming dance at the high school will run from 9:30 p.m. to midnight on Friday.

Native American Week will include a study of indigenous plants and an Indian taco feed.

A powwow is planned for Thursday afternoon at the Wadopana Grounds.
