Remember To Register For TEB Election
If you aren’t a registered voter for the Fort Peck Tribes’ election, you may register to vote by appearing in person before the secretary or any member of the Tribal Executive Board on or before the close of registration at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 10.
Non-resident voters may register by signing the voter registration card before a notary public.
To see a list of registered voters, view this article on www.northernplainsindependent. com. Registration for candidacy for an office of the TEB will close on Sept. 10 at 4:30 p.m. Election day is Oct. 25.
Positions up for election are tribal chairman, tribal vice chairman, sergeantat- arms, 12 tribal executive board members and two associate judges.
