Yellow Jackets Open Season With Home Game Against Malta

Wolf Point’s Legion B baseball team will open its season at home on Wednesday, April 30, when the Yellow Jackets host Malta for a single game starting at 6:30 p.m.

The squad is coached by Jed Loucks and Jermiah Whitright.

Legion B consists of players between the ages of 12-18 years old. The Yellow Jackets started practices last week with 11 players. Most of the players are in the 12-14 age range.

“The goal is to get people out and revive it,” Loucks said of the program. “We want to get back to fundamentals and hopefully our program will take off.”

Other teams on Wolf Point’s schedule include Sidney, Glendive, Glasgow and Froid.

“We want to be competitive and have fun,” Loucks said.
