Brockton Fire

A small fire south of U.S. Highway 2 in Brockton was called in to Roosevelt County dispatch around 3:30 p.m. April 6. Volunteer fire departments from Poplar, Froid and Culbertson were paged out to the scene. Mike Olson told the Northern Plains Independent that the fire was caused by humans. Olson said the fire burned approximately two acres and was out by 6 p.m. Photo by James Walling)
