Appearing on May 7 in Great Falls before U.S. Magistrate Judge John T. Johnston and pleading not guilty on May 7 were: David Michael Rosebud Mathison, 48, of Poplar on charges of wire fraud. If convicted of the most serious crime, Mathison faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release. Mathison was released pending further proceedings.

The Roosevelt County Sheriffs Office responded to 59 calls from May 6-12. Highlights include: May 6 A break-in was reported at 6:35 a.m. at Eddy Bauer Sales in Wolf Point.
