Culbertson/Bainville Runners Cut Times At Glasgow Meet


The Culbertson/Bainville cross-country team participated at the Glasgow Invitational held in Fort Peck on Saturday, Sept. 18.
Kayli Olson finished in 14th place with a personal best time of 22:50.42.
“I have really been working hard,” Olson said of the strong showing.
Plentywood’s Annie Kaul was the individual winner with a time of 19:33.51.
Emma Poser of Culbertson/ Bainville placed 26th at 25:20.76. Megan Granbois also ran well for the Cowgirls with a time of 26:31.00.
Coach Dave Solem said Olson and Granbois cutting their times were a highlight of the meet.
In the boys’ division, Drae Nelson finished 39th at 21:39.87. Nyreece Halvorson took 40th at 22:00.34.
Wyatt Snyder placed 42nd at 22:06.16. Dawson Bergum took 49th at 22:53.80.
Isaiah Bighorn finished 54th at 24:36.00.
Wolf Point’s Peyton Summers was the individual winner with a time of 16:55.51.
Culbertson/Bainville will compete in Frazer on Thursday, Sept. 23, and in Lockwood on Saturday, Sept. 25.
