Cowgirls Defeat Thunder

The Culbertson Cowgirls cruised to a straight set home victory over MonDak on Saturday, Sept. 18. Culbertson won by a 25-10, 25-16, 25-13, final.

Highlights for the Cowgirls included Makena Hauge with 17 kills, six aces, three blocks and 25 digs.

Destiny Thompson scored eight kills, three aces, two blocks and 17 digs.

Koree Marchwick finished with 14 assists, two aces, a block and 18 digs.

Kenadee Kempton had seven assists, four digs and a kill. Alicyn Ator accounted for one assist and six digs. Perla Burciaga added one ace, three kills and nine digs.

Leading MonDak was Emma Smart with three kills and one block. Zalianah Lowes added a block.

Erika Christian and Angelina Garcia each served two aces. Garcia finished with three assists and 11 digs.

The Cowgirls will host Savage on Thursday, Sept. 23.
