FPCC Buffalo Chasers Split Games With Stone Child College

The Fort Peck Community College Buffalo Chasers split their games with Stone Child College his past weekend at the Poplar High School gymnasium.

SCC won Saturday night’s contest 99-95, and FPCC came back to secure a win on Sunday afternoon 121-111.

The games provided some fast-tempo entertainment for the spectators both nights, as the teams traded baskets all game long, with the lead changing hands back and forth.

FPCC and SCC are members of the Montana Tribal College Athletic Association and will be in action this upcoming weekend at SCC’s home court at Rocky Boy.

Both teams’ schools are also members of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium and will be participating in the 2020 AIHEC National Basketball Tournament in Santa Fe, N.M., at the end of March.
