Poplar Girls Earn Second Place At Divisional Wrestling Meet


Poplar’s girls’ wrestling team tied for second place in the team standings at the divisional meet with 109 points. The Indians tied with Fort Benton. Baker took first place with 150.5 points. Two Poplar wrestlers earned individual divisional championships. Angelina Escarcega captured the title at 100 pounds. The senior won on a 15-0 technical fall over Baker’s Emmalyn Miller in the championship
