Roger, Ruby Nygaard Are 2025’s Wild Horse Stampede Grand Marshals
Roger and Ruby Nygaard — the grand marshals for the 2025 Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede — are a couple who has spent most of their lives around rodeos.
Ruby shares that Roger’s uncle was the famed Marvin Brookman, who is a member of the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and the Stampede stadium is named after him. “We’ve been going to rodeos since we were babies,” Ruby said.

Midway West Brings Carnival Fun To Wolf Point For Stampede
The Midway West Carnival Company returns to Wolf Point for the second straight year to provide rides and games during Stampede weekend. Dates for the carnival are July 9 (pending), 10, 11 and 12 with the carnival scheduled to open at 5 p.m. daily.
A limited number of pay-oneprice carnival tickets are available for purchase at the Stampede ticket booth located on Main Street.
