The Wolf Point City Council held their regular meeting Jan. 18 in council chambers. The meeting began at 7 p.m. Carrie Manning was appointed to the Ward 4 seat on the council. She ran against Nourah AbuShaban. Manning and AbuShaban introduced themselves and spoke about their respective backgrounds and plans for the council. Both are homeowners and active community members. Marine On Leave Has Vehicle, Gear Stolen


Local Marine Corps Sgt. Andrew Hollom Jr. had his leave interrupted when his vehicle was stolen in Poplar Jan. 12. The vehicle was found by Fort Peck Tribes Department of Law and Justice officers Jan. 15 below Honda Hill.
