Sierra Nagle of Circle High School is one of this year’s winners of the Big Sky State Games’ scholarships. Winners were picked based on their character, community involvement and participation in sports. Each of the recipients will receive $500. Other winners included Dayton Magone of Billings West, Parker Friday of Billings Senior, Ryan Dolan of Billings West and Bailey Graves of Laurel.

The women’s walleye tournament took place Saturday July 17, in Fort Peck. The event featured 62 teams. The winning team of Kelsey Kuehn and Kinsey Schwers from Glasgow finished with 33 pounds. Piocos was seeking a stiffer penalty, Jay Allen Fugate of Fairview must serve 30 days in the county jail and will be fined $1,000 for a driving while under the influence of intoxicants charge.
