District judge David J. Cybulski has ruled that there was probable cause for a search warrant in the case involving John David Panasuk of Bainville. During a hearing on Wednesday, Jan. 12, the defense sought a motion to prohibit evidence obtained during a search. Vincent Benjamin Putman was sentenced during a hearing in district court on Wednesday, Jan. 12. Putman received a twoyear deferred sentence and a $500 fine for the charge of possession of dangerous drugs. In another hearing on Jan. 12, Weldon Drew was found in violation of his bond release. The State of Montana has purchase of 650,000 COVID-19 rapid tests to be distributed to county public health departments. Because of provisions in the American Rescue Plan, the state has access to testing supplies and funding opportunities to purchase these supplies so Montanans can receive tests for free.
