Red Cross Supplies Drop To Low Levels

The American Red Cross is experiencing an emergency blood shortage and must collect 10,000 additional blood products each week over the next month for the blood supply to recover and meet hospital and patient needs. Donors of all blood types — especially type O — and are urged to make an appointment to give now and in the weeks ahead to overcome this current shortage. Blood donor turnout

The Wolf People group of Wolf Point High School put up a tipi in front of Wolf Point High School on Tuesday, Sept. 21, as part of Native American Heritage Week. The Fort Peck Tribes executive board heard from Bureau of Indian Affairs Superintendent Anna Eder during this week’s chairman’s report. For the month of September, the Wildland Fire Program counted nine fires that affect 55 acres on the reservation. From April to the present day, the program recorded a total of 152 fires that burned across 2,764.75 acres. The fire management officer
