Prescribed Burns Planned At Fort Union

Multiple blocks of prescribed burns are planned at Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site. These burns will only occur when conditions such as humidity, wind and temperature are conducive to prescribed fire operations. If conditions are met, three units totaling 96 acres are planned for prescription. Units will run parallel to ND 1804 and along the park maintenance shop road. Prescribed
