Wolves Compete At Class B State Tournament


Much of the attention was directed toward Columbus’ 6-9 standout center Hayden Steffenson in the first-round state tournament game against the Wolves, but it was Wolf Point’s post who made the biggest shot in the 6562 victory in Great Falls on Thursday, March 9. After Columbus’ Mason Meier hit a three-pointer to produce a 62-62 deadlock, the Wolves called time-out with 9.6 seconds left.

Wolves Lose To Loyola In Semi-Final Round


In the Class B state semi-final round, Wolf Point’s boys’ basketball squad was outscored by Missoula Loyola, 63-48, in Great Falls on Friday, March 10. After falling behind by a 16-6 margin, the Wolves battled back on a three-pointer by Juliun Benson, a basket by Lennoxx Lilley off a steal by Benson and a three-pointer by Jack Kolstad to cut the margin to 16-14 with 1:16 left in the opening

Red Lodge Ends Wolves’ Season


Wolf Point’s boys had a difficult time getting going in their Saturday morning game against Red Lodge at the Class B state tournament and lost by a 67-57 final in loser- out action on March 11. The Wolves fell behind by a 14-2 margin. A drive by Peyton Summers cut the margin to 14-4 to end the opening period. Kraven Silk sparked a comeback for the Wolves to open the second quarter. The
