Each year, for the past 20-25 years, Betty Moore’s residence on the corner of Fourth Avenue North and Indian Street, has featured a delightful assortment of Christmas lights and ornaments in honor of the holidays.
“My sister [Ella Mae Stolen] and I started a little bit of decorating,” Moore said. “She passed away in 2016. We’ve gradually have been putting more lights up all the time.”

Arnold Francis Douglas, 65, of Poplar died in Billings on Dec. 16, 2020.
He was born in Poplar on Feb. 23, 1955, to Joseph and Christine (Davis) Douglas. He grew up in Poplar on the “West End” and went to grade school there. He then went to Busby Boarding School in Busby until seventh grade. He then lived with his sister and brother-in-law, Vivian and Earl Jones

The funeral will be held Wednesday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m. at the Poplar Cultural Center in Poplar. Interment will follow at the Fort Kipp Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel was entrusted with the arrangements.
